After the death of his wife, Adam uses his computer programming skills to develop Artificial Intelligence as an attempted distraction from reality. Meanwhile, his sister-in-law, Hannah, fears that his new obsession is keeping him from moving on. As Mia, Adam's new creation, develops, it begins to question it's own existence.
