A comedy with dark undertones, follows an extremely awkward girl, (raised in a sheltered cult compound in upstate New York) to Brooklyn College, where her boy-crazy childhood friend, introduces her to blind dates, wild frat-parties and demeaning sorority pledging, resulting in her parents kidnapping her back to the compound, which, unbeknownst to them, is being subject to surveillance by the FBI.
