In the future, the world is run by the FOS Network, the posterity to the preceding GPT Program. Dr. Halvorsen and his batch of scientists perform trials and experiments with Dr. Hartman to procure more information as to the origins and intent of FOS's motives, leading them to believe, through the access granted by the attached implants, it has manipulated certain parts of the human brain allowing not only telepathy but precognition and clairvoyance; freezing certain objects in time to allow Hartman to form a symbiosis with FOS to traverse the transverse between their minds.
